ORIGINS AND ETYMOLOGY

Astro-English: from Astronese, the word astrosity makes use of the prefix astro- to denote “the astronomical world” and also makes use of the suffix -ity to denote “a state or condition”, altogether meaning “a state of union with the astronomical world” which of course pertains to the condition of astrosis.
