ORIGINS AND ETYMOLOGY

Astro-English: from Astronese, the word cosmosis is formed through use of the prefix cosmo- denoting The Cosmos which is then conjoined to the suffix -osis denoting “a state or condition”, altogether meaning “a condition of cosmic union.”
